SFX Ministries
Our Parish is made up of a vibrant community of volunteers. From serving at the Altar, to greeting you when you come through the front doors of the church and everywhere in between, there is always someone eager and ready to help make your experience at SFX a memorable one. We have so many ministries and groups, some you may not even knew existed.

Altar servers play an important role in supporting the celebration of Mass by helping with the rituals and movements at the altar. Through their service, they deepen their understanding of the Mass and contribute to a prayerful worship experience for the community. Any child who is Grade 3 and up and has received their First Holy Communion is welcome to be an Altar Server.

Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers
Volunteers in this ministry assist Fr. Kris and our Deacons in the distribution of the Blessed Body of Christ, the most precious gift of all. This ministry requires a great reverence for the Eucharist, a prayerful attitude and a love for the people of God. Through their service, they help ensure that all of the faithful are nourished by the Eucharist, sharing in Christ’s presence and love.

Greeters warmly welcome parishioners and visitors as they arrive for Mass, helping everyone feel at home in the parish community. Through their friendly presence, they reflect Christ’s love and create a spirit of welcome and belonging.
